Hello there! I’m Anne Romeo, and I understand first hand the impact of hair loss, specifically CCCA ( Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia), a condition commonly seen in Black women. Having experienced bald spots on my scalp, I know how it can affect your self-confidence and daily life. However, I’ve discovered a solution through scalp micropigmentation (SMP).
As millions of men and women experience noticeable hair loss, I can relate to their struggles. With over 30 years of dreadlocks, I began noticing bald spots throughout my crown. Seeking professional advice, my dermatologist performed a scalp biopsy, confirming my diagnosis of CCCA. Unfortunately, I was told that my shining bald spots would never regrow hair.
Scalp micropigmentation, also known as hair loss tattoo, is the key to restoring a natural hairline in cases of moderate to complete baldness. It effectively conceals various forms of alopecia, diffuse thinning, and minimizes the visual impact of scarring, burns, and blemishes on the scalp.
